Mixing songs for Nathan Slawson and The Sea

Hey everyone, just checking in to say hi and update some studio news.  I'll be mixing some songs for California artist, "Nathan Slawson and The Sea."  If you like ambient acoustic tracks, you'll dig what Nathan has to offer.  Good tunes, honest lyrics, and a heart of gold to match, check out Nathan Slawson and The Sea.  Here's a song I got to mix for him last year.  It's called, Abby's Song.  Continue to enjoy the hot weather of summer.

Saint Espirit and Day Adore release for the summer!

Here is some news to start the summer off right.  I recently finished producing, mixing, and writing a track with California artist, "Saint Espirit."  The track will be part of her debut release on Dream Records, and If you like, "Churches", "M83", and "Haim", check out Saint Espirit.  Should be due out sometime in early July.

On another note, here is another song that I have finished and released.  It's called, "Day Adore", and is part of a batch of songs that were started back in California with my buddy, Dan Bailey on drums.  I figured I would finish them and release them one at a time for everyone to hear.  I will be continuing to release the songs as singles throughout the summer.  Check it out down below.  Oh yeah, "please and thank you!" - Ron Swanson

One more thing, I'll be working with Dallas artist, David Porcheddu, on his next album due out sometime this fall.  I'll keep everyone updated on that and let you know if I melt in the hot state of Texas.  Talk to you all soon!

Slowstep.

Hey everyone!  So, Slowstep is a side project that I am doing in my spare time to present some of my musical ideas to the world.  Here is a song I wrote quite sometime ago that I have finally brought to completion.  The recording process started about 8 years ago in California with my buddy Dan Bailey playing drums on it and gradually came to fruition.  The song is called, "Release Your Eyes", and it's about remembering that at anytime in life we are all capable of choosing a path that can lead to our downfall, or a path that can lead to hope.  Please take a listen, share it around with others, and always remember to have fun.  Also, if you like the drumming, please hit up Dan Bailey for remote drum services, as he is quite the experienced drummer and is working on some great projects.  Thanks!

New David Porcheddu single

Just finished up producing and mixing a new single written by David Porcheddu and myself. If you like Ray Lamontagne, Ryan Adams, 50's Motown, you'll dig this track. Should be out sometime soon for you're full listening pleasure.  In the meantime, you can listen to the song on my site playlist.  Here's a link if you're interested in finding out more about David Porcheddu.

Thanks for reading!
